so its official, hollywood has run out of ideas and they are just going to remake every movie from the 1980s.

just confirmed, they are remaking "A Nightmare on Elm Street" ...with a new Freddy Kreuger...the actor is the guy who played Rorschach in Watchmen (havent seen it yet).....theres also plan to remake "Hellraiser". and they already did "Friday the 13th" and "Halloween". plus the "Karate Kid" has been remade and Daniel is Will Smith's son...how ridiculous!!!

Tron is being remade, and i know there are a bunch of other 80s movies being re-done.

and now they are remaking 1990's films as they are going to remake the original "the Crow", which is just shameful. the original director is pissed about it but its out of his hands. James O'Barr must of made a deal with the devil when he gave them the rights to it back in the 90s. I know the money must of been nice, but they killed "the Crow" with all the horrible sequels and 5 minute TV show that was cancelled before the opening titles were aired.

and why stop there, lets remake movies that just came out..like "Let the Right One In" which is being directed by the guy who did "Cloverfield"....atleast they waited 4 years to remake the Japanese "the Ring"...they arent wasting any time with "Let the Right One In".

you know some exec is sitting in his office on the phone trying to get someone to remake "Slumdog Millionaire" but taken place in the states. And my guess Drew Barrymore and Ben Afleck will star in it.

just curious has anyone watched Kings yet? Pretty damn good, plus anything with Ian McShane you just have to watch....

He was on Daily Show last night, and he definitely clarified no more Deadwood. There were rumblings of a Deadwood movie, but McShane said "Deadwood is Dead"

Also, anyone up for getting tickets to see Watchmen? We might have to get tickets early though, if its not sold out already. Im not sure whats going on in the Boston theaters these days? Is anyone is interested in buying tickets early? we just cant see a show later than 9pm...we want to head back to Maine around Midnight at the latest. so any show somewhere in the 3-9 pm range would probably work...

The Golden Globes go it right!!! One of the best performances in modern cinema. I hope the Academy will do the same....

Catherine and I went to the Obama rally in Manchester, NH on Saturday...It was one of the greatest days of my life. We got there at 6:30am so we could get a good spot to see him. And we got in the FRONT ROW!!! I took over 230 photos...and when his speech was done he came around and I got to shake his hand....He looked right at me, stood there for 1 sec, reached his hand out and said "THANK YOU" right to me....i was so psyched, ill never forget it......His speech was amazing!!! He started off about Hurricane Ike for about 10 minutes, then spoke for about 40 minutes going over economy, war and everything that hes stood for his whole life....

Catherine and I are going to volunteer up in NH since its a Battleground State...We decided to do canvassing which helps out huge talking to people directly about the issues at stake.

Ive been following him since 2004 since his DNC speech, read his books and have been supporting him for the 2 years of this campaign....IF he doesnt win, I dont know, i just dont want to be in the USA anymore...Our country is falling apart minute by minute, yet all you hear in the news is the lies the Republicans try and brainwash the American public with...its been going on for 8+ years and its ENOUGH!!!!

and the fucking sad thing is we arent even going against McCain, its more Palin...The Repubs care less about McCain, he favoribility is almost as bad as Bush's, but this lying, evil, right wing fanatic Palin is the one they care about....The SNL skit last weeked was right on when they had Hillary say sarcastically "ANYONE CAN BE PRESIDENT, ANYONE"..Hillary fought 16 years for the people of this country, Palin fought to get a tanning bed in her Gov. house...Hillary went up against big corporate health care companies fighting for Universal Healthcare..Palin fought to get her best friends from High School into positions in ALaskan government...Palin cares nothing ABOUT YOU, US or ANYONE but her own fucking self....You know McCain isnt going to be healthy during his 1st admin if he gets in and this leaves the country to Palin....ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!!!

And to hear some Hillary supports say they are voting for McCain now is a disgrace to society...Palin stands for nothing Hillary has stood for...NOTHING!!! NOT ONE FUCKING THING!!!! If you women out there think Palin is the answer for all women, then not one of you have ever listened to one thing Hillary has ever stood for...Palin has lied herself into this rock star image, and she continues to lie about her fucking Bridge, her fucking ebay airplane sale, her fucking $200-400 million in earmarks, and about Troopergate....If this women gets in office all you women out there will have taken a step back, a huge step back from what Hillary fought so hard over the last 16 years....Womens rights will be hugely effected, education will collapse even more, and healthcare will be so unaffordable, that more people are going to die that dont have to.

Look, dont take my word on this, but learn about what Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin stand for....Dont read just the headlines, really read the substance.....Anyone who believes Obama is raising everyones taxes is being lied to and mislead and brainwashed by Republican lies...Yah if you make over $250,000 yes your taxes jump from $2500 to $4000....but if you make under that you see a significant increase in your return...compared to McCain, anyone in the same bracket see no change at all...

As far as healthcare, Obama is going to lower costs considerbly in the 1st year, mainly able to pay for it once we stop spending $10 billion a month in Iraq. But McCain is going to make your health benefits taxable to your income, so if your making $50,000 and your company claims your health benefits cost them $12,000/ year, under McCain you are now taxed for a $62,000 income!!! And what your company will do is most like say, hey, you can now pay this all, not them....because they will get a huge tax for having Healthcare....McCain also says that he will give families $5000 tax credit towards healthcare...ok, so if your health care costs $12,000/year, and your wifes cost $12,000/year, thats $24,000....you get the McCain $5000 credit, so thats $19,000 you have to PAY PER YEAR!!!!

Under Obama, with having a lot of money freed up from withdraing troops and money out of Iraq, we can afford to lower the costs of Healthcare, and by also raising taxes of people over $250,000 it brings a ton of money into the system....He wants to go back to the Clinton economics and tax policies which is the most prosperous time in the past 30 years....And for people who dont have healthcare, you can simply get the same Heathcare like anyone in Congress or Senate can get, and if you cannot afford it there will be ways to help people in the same way as Unemployment helps people....And Obama promises to get rid of any "pre-existing" condition loophole....his own Mother went through that when she dies of cancer...they said she had a pre-existing condition and denied her health care....so he knows exactly what that is like and will end this loophole immediately!!

so thats my rant....please talk to your neighbors, family, everyone....McCain is 4 more years of the same if not worse....

not sure if any of you have ever seen this, but its a trailer based on the Dave McKean/Grant Morrison comic Arkham Asylum. It was made by this spanish filmmaker Miguel Mesas, www.miguelmesas.com. Its not a full length film, they just made this trailer as sort of a "short film" project to pay tribute to Arkham Asylum, one of the best comics ever created in my mind.....this short film is amazing. its also in spanish with english subtitles.

the Batman Dark Knight cast gets weirder by the day....Sarrah Michelle Geller is Harley Quinn, Aaron Eckhart is Harvey Dent, Nestor Carbonell (from "Lost") will be the Gotham Mayor....and a blast from the 80's Anthony Michael Hall is in the film as well but its not been said who he is playing....

Which i due add i dont believe in a second that 911 was just bin Laden's men without the Bush admin knowing it was either coming, or even helped plan it.....you can easily see they wanted this war and at any cost so they could claim Iraq and its oil. this is all about oil and nothing else. countries like Africa and Korea are in worse shape than Iraq but we do nothing about it because theres nothing in those countries we need. if Africa had oil, we would be fighting them....they have a population of an entire country that is in refugee camps, yet we just ignore it becauase they have no oil. its worse than the holocaust over there in Africa. but its not in our governments plans to help because they have nothing for us. so what just sell them arms and amo hoping they kill each other off...

and my wish is one day GW and all his puppets get brought up on war crimes and suffer the fate that Sadam did a few months back....they have done nothing different if not worse things than he ever did....we are killing our own people, just in different ways....ways that decieve us, the american public, so that we dont see them as the terrorists that they are.....Our government are terroirsts and i dont blame Iraq at all from hating us. we destroyed their homes, killed their women and children, and now leave them with nothing. what are they supposed to do. they have no stable government, military or police....they have no schools the children can be safe. they have no hospitals where the sick can go.....

as much as i want them to pull out the troops, you have to look at it and we just cant because GW and everyone fucked this up beyond repair. it cannot be fixed and it never will....1000 years from now, if the human race still even exists, they will still be fighting over there....

unless god himself comes down and says "STOP", there is no way to fix this mess.....

our only hope is if Obama or one of the democrats can somehow atleast go over there, work with their government side by side for months and years on end, and hope no other huge disasters get in the way.

its one of the reasons why i think Obama can be one of the saviours. because i think he has the demeanor to talk to other countries 1 on 1 and gain back respect from the world. why the fuck would any country even want to talk to GW.....Obama's pinky finger has more intelligence than this guy....i mean when Bill Clinton goes to other countries to give speaches still to this day, he gets standing ovations....do you think anyone is going to want GW come give a speach for anything anywhere???
