Nine Inch Nails / Jane's Addiction (June 3rd, Mansfield, MA)
for those of you interested, Nine Inch Nail's in playing with Janes Addiction this summer in Mansfield June 3rd, pre-sale tickets go on sale today at 4pm.....you have to register an account at nin.com and also musictoday.com in order to get the presale tickets...you are only allowed 2 tickets and your name is printed on the tickets so only you and your guest can use them.

Also this is going to be Nine Inch Nail's last tour for a while or possibly forever. He's going to do other music but not as Nine Inch Nails, hes taking a break from it.

and also Tom Morello's new band is the opening act. He's the guitarist from Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave.

so if if anyones interested go to nin.com at 4pm and signup to buy tickets.

I do warn you, tickets might be like $100....we tried getting Depeche Mode tickets last week, and the cheapest was $80 for seats....its was around $50 for lawn area....

Oh, man...I'd love to go, but I really couldn't justify the expense. Sounds like it will be an awesome show, though.

(Also -- so jealous of your Depeche Mode tickets!)

actually we didn't get Depeche Mode because it would of been $160+ for 2 tickets. I cant fathom spending that much to see them....they are a favorite of ours, but its a little too much....Im waiting to see how much NIN is going to be. im prepared to pay $100 per ticket, i hope its not over that. NIN is the only band i would even consider spending that much on...especially it could be his last show as NIN for a long time. Although many bands say that, and they always come back....But he said hes going to be pursuing other music for a while and not be NIN anymore. we shall see.

and at $80+ a ticket for depeche, my feeling is it wont even come close to selling out, so if we decide last minute to go, im sure ill be able to get tickets. Ill let you know if we do get Depeche, maybe you can join us.

if and when i get NIN tickets, ill let you know how much they are. maybe they will be cheaper than i think.

Oh, I see...yeah, I love Depeche Mode -- even the new stuff -- but I wouldn't be willing to pay that much for them. That sucks.

Yeah, keep me in the loop about tickets. Who knows, maybe by then I'll have a job and won't feel guilty about entertainment that costs more the $10! :)
